Warm Chocolate Melting Cake by Carnival Cruise Line

Warm Chocolate Melting Cake

The Warm Chocolate Melting Cake made aboard Carnival Cruise Line ships is always well-received by my family. We make it a point to order it at least one time during a sailing. We were thrilled when Carnival Cruise Line release this coveted recipe to home bakers, ironically on National Chocolate Cake Day, this year!Warm Chocolate Melting Cake

Carnival recommends serving the Warm Chocolate Melting Cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, “It has been a staple of the line’s dessert menus for many years with more than four million servings of the gooey, decadent confection served annually.”

The ingredients are not complicated and the cooking tools are what you will likely have in your kitchen. You will want to bake it in a ramekin, as seen in the photo, so purchase one of those if you don’t already have.

For those who want to recreate this wildly popular dessert at home, the recipe is below.
