Key West with kids can be fun, educational and enjoyable for an entire family. We recently spent 7 days/7 nights in Key West, Florida on a family vacation. Daddy was there on a business trip, so we crashed his hotel room at The Reach!
We have been to Key West several times, but this trip was the best. We found different and fun activities to do with the kids. We took advantage of beautiful weather, great food and the unique entertainment found across the streets of Key West.
Below I share the overview of our itinerary. See links to more specific details on each day’s activity. Note that we are a family of 4, kids aged 2 & 6, and a number of times I was solo with the kids since Daddy had work to do.
Key West with Kids Itinerary Overview
- Playground at Higgs Beach
- City View Tours
- Lunch: Denny’s on Duval
- Butterfly & Nature Conservatory
- Dinner: Hot Tin Roof
Note: We did not include the Key West Aquarium on this most recent trip, solely because we visited last time, just a few months ago. It is a great addition to a Key West itinerary.
