Traveling on Shaklee180
Traveling and eating healthy aren’t always so easy to do. On our most recent family vacation to Key West I was smart. I packed dozens on Shaklee180 meal bars and snack bars to have on hand. I saved calories and money by bring my own meals.
I wasn’t perfect, but I most certainly get an A for effort. The night before our week-long trip I opened two boxes of meal bars and snack bars and emptied them right into my suitcase.
I had bought the girls and Tom a box of doughnuts and knew that wasn’t for me. On vacation we often eat breakfast in the room. It’s food we bring from home – saving us money on at least one meal a day. In the past I would put my hand in the doughnut box. But not this time. I took out a Shaklee180 meal bar nearly every morning.
The meal bar satisfied my appetite and tasted great. At lunch things were a little tricker since we were typically at a restaurant. I would sometimes eat the meal bar for lunch and then have a light salad at the table with the family.
The key to success is setting yourself up for it. Packing my Shaklee180 meal bars and snacks provided the opportunity to make healthy food choices.

I could not agree more! I always travel with Shaklee 180 when flying, going on a road trip or biz trip and this last weekend we camped and I had nothing. FAIL! I had to throw my stash out of the camper because of ANTS and never replaced the mixes and bars! I was so sad this weekend and guess what I gained. I had no plan in place and it stumped me. I am so glad you posted this because for me it key!
