I like to give to random strangers. On Sunday I was at the Redbox machine and I had a free code, which I gave to the person behind me. I also hand out free coupons to people in grocery stores. They always look so surprised. I don’t drink coffee but my husband does, and he will often pay for the coffee of the next person in line behind him.

I collect soaps, shampoos, lotions, etc. from hotel visits and similar items from samples I have sent for and take them to the local women’s shelter.

I make a habit of paying it forward buy purchasing little things like the Sunday paper for the next person who comes in to buy one after me. A small way to make someone’s day a little better.

Simple. We live in a low income area so it’s common to see people without enough money at the grocery. The next few times I see someone who has to put an item back because they don’t have the cash, I’ll step forward and offer to pay.

I helped put together our company’s group for volunteering and helping out the community – giving our employees a central place to go if they want to help out in the community.

I recently had a serious medicalcondition, and people brought me home made meals. So helpful! So I will pay it forward by doing the same!

Our church in the spring does a “baby shower”, where you donate new items or diapers for babies and they are given out to people in the community who are having financial difficulties. I would purchase items and donate them to the baby shower.

I do local theater and improv and we do free shows where we raise money and awareness for various causes. It’s fun and for a good purpose

Just being polite to everyone…but I really like the idea someone had of paying for the person behind you in a drive thru.

We donate to our local food bank about every other month. We try to use coupons to buy super deals and then donate them.

Every semester of school I donate tons of canned goods to the local ALC – they then give them to the food shelves, and the kids feel like they helped out for a good cause also!

We have a single mom who lives on our street and recently lost her job that we have been assisting with food, clothing, lights etc.
We do what we can to make it easier for her while she is looking for work.

I love to volunteer. Now that I’ve moved to a new city, I need to find opportunities to volunteer here.

I’m used to volunteering my counseling services, but look for other opportunities, too. Volunteer Match is a great site to do that.

This is a wonderful idea, and I thank you for your generous giveaway. My idea for paying it forward is to use the card to buy interesting books for the students I tutor which will increase their interest in the subject of mathematics. I think many students are intimidated by, or simply uninterested in mathematics, and I want to show students that it is indeed a fascinating subject.

Starting last year, we put in an organic garden and donated all the excess to various people, and thru a local food bank. THIS upcoming year, weather permitting lol, we plan on doing a larger plot and donating even more. In fact, I sincerely want to be able to open a small FREE stand where all the excess can be put out for anyone who wants some. I love gardening, and giving away the *fruits* of my labor.
