Guy Fieri New Restaurant on Carnival Magic

You know how much we LOVE dining on cruise ships, so no matter the line (usually the sign of something good) this foodie family is ready to wait to bite in! One of favorite things to enjoy on a Carnival ship is a burger at Guy’s Burger Bar. We’ve devoured his burgers on the Breeze, Freedom and Sunshine. Always loading up on their endless topping bar! There is always a line because it’s THAT GOOD. Thankfully it’s rather fast moving. 

Carnival knows when they are onto something good. They are continuing their partnership with celebrity chef & restauranteur Guy Fieri with a new dining option on the Carnival Magic, the Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse.

This no-extra-fee smokehouse restaurant has Fieri’s take on favorites like bone-in, dry-rubbed, slow-smoked and pulled Championship Pork Butt, dry-rubbed and grilled Blue Ribbon Chicken, smoked Andouille sausage and Sliced Smoked Round of Beef cooked “low and slow” and thinly sliced. The smokehouse also features a traditional wood smoker which was installed on board as part of a recent dry dock. Guests will also be filling up with side dishes like Mac Daddy Mac n Cheese, Old Skool Potato Salad, Scratch-Made Slaw, Collard Greens with Smoked Turkey, and Molasses Baked Beans with Bacon and Burnt Ends.

Carnival Magic will continue its seven-day schedule from Galveston through April 10, 2016 then reposition to Port Canaveral to launch year-round seven-day Caribbean cruises April 23, 2016.   Prior to launching its new seven-day schedule from Port Canaveral, Carnival Magic will operate a special three-day cruise to Nassau April 20-23, 2016.
