Key West Family Vacation Itinerary, Day 1

Our vacation itinerary in Key West proved to be fun, educational and enjoyable for our entire family. We spent 7 days in Key West, Florida on a family vacation. My husband was there on business so we crashed his hotel room at The Reach Resort and went out each day to enjoy the sites, vibe and people of Key West. There truly is no city like it, anywhere. Key West for a family vacation is great idea. I speak from experience.

This Key West Vacation Itinerary series will provide you with our experience traveling as a family of 4, kids aged 2 & 6, for 7 full days. A number of times I was solo with the kids since Daddy had work to do.

We arrived at The Reach Resort – a Waldorf Astoria hotel, excited to check out the property, our room and see Daddy.

We ordered cold beers, and an appetizer – Tex Mex Rolls- which Isabella ate as her dinner. I had a big salad with tuna and Tom got a Cheeseburger. The service was well above average.
