Smarty Pants Product of the Week – Sarah Landon and the Paranormal Hour DVD

Product
Sarah Landon and the Paranormal Hour

Smarty Pants Review
Wondering what movie to have on hand for the next kids sleepover?? Sarah Landon and the Paranormal Hour is perfect!
I don’t sit well through scary movies. I always end up closing my eyes or hitting mute so the scary music doesn’t scare me more!!! Good news, I’ve come across a great “scary” movie for chickens like me, and tweens! Sarah Landon and the Paranormal Hour is a great “scary” movie for kids (and adults!!!), in a “Goosebumps” style. It truly has some scary, startling scenes, but nothing that will leave you or the kids with nightmares.
Why is it a Smarty Pants Product? No goriness. No offensive language or “intimate” scenes! It’s scary yet appropriate for tweens on up. I HIGHLY recommend this for sleepovers, especially with Halloween approaching!!!

  1. My all time favorite scary movie is Poltergeist. It doesn’t matter how many times I watch Poltergeist, it still scares me.

  2. The original “House on Haunted Hill”. I think it was dated in the 60s, but it’s corny and scarey at the same time! Thanks!

  3. When i was younger i loved nightmare on elm street movies. I no longer can watch scary movies alone.

  4. “something Wicked This Way Comes” a Ray Bradbury book created on film. It starts out slow but, builds in suspense and confronts the viewer with their own limited mortality.

  5. nightmare on Elm Street, the original and part III were always my favorite…………havent seen a horror flick in a long time- would be a great catch!!

  6. It has to be the Exorcist. I got so freaked out that I couldn’t go home to my apartment. I went to my parents house and slept on their sofa for 2 nights with the lights on. I saw it many years ago when I first came out and wish that I had never seen it.
It was way too much for me.

  7. I irritate people by laughing during stupid horro movies because its so unreal- this looks fun for the kids though..I hate the ones where they get bigboobbedfatredheaded actresses or nerdy guys who cannot act to be the victims- some are so silly and stupid.

  8. I love horror movies and it is hard to choose just one, but if I had to, I would pick the original Halloween. Thanks for the contest.

  9. The Halloween series Micheal Myers is the only “boogy man” that freaks me out! Thanks for the chance to win!

  10. The Shining is my favorite one, but I really don’t want to think about that right now! It is late here and storming!

  11. Nightmare on Elm Street used to scare the bejeeebies outta me, and the original Saw scares me now!!!

  12. Friday the 13th was always my favorite. And I have always looked forward to this time of year because it comes on again.
Thank you for always offering such wonderful giveaways.
I would LOVE to win !!

  13. I’d say the scariest is “How I Met My Wife”. What scareier than getting married. Compared to that Jason and Freddy Krueger is lovey dovey.

  14. My favorite scary move is a toss up between The Ring and The Grudge. I usually not scared but when I watched these I slept with the lights on for a week.

  15. REALLY REALLY WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THIS ONE;SOUNDS LIKE IT WILL BE OUTSTANDIN’ ; FAVORITE ALL TIME HORROR MOVIE IS THE OMEN MOVIES!!!!!! THEY ROCK !!!!

  16. I don’t care for horror movies so I don’t have a favorite, but this seems like more of a thriller so I would love the chance to watch it.

  17. My fave is the Exorcist. I snuck in with my cousin to see it at the theatre when I was a teen and it scared the mess out of us!

  18. When I was a very young girl I saw The Birds. I have not been able to watch a scary movie since. Well I did watch The Exorcist a few years ago (I’m in my forties) and The Exorcism of Emily Rose but I view those as thinking horror films LOL.

I would love to win this and share it with my grandkids.

    Thanks for the contest.

  19. My all time favorite is Psycho. I will never forget the first time I saw it and the shower scene came on! I was at a theater and my drink and popcorn went everywhere when I jumped! Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this giveaway!
