3 Steps for Photo Christmas Cards

Getting beautiful Christmas Photo Cards done, most importantly done on time and on budget, can be stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. Here are 3 basic steps to get your cards DONE! Do it! Do it now!

  1. Download those pictures, NOW! You’ve taken a gazillion photos on your phone, camera and maybe even iPad this past year. There has got to be at least a few that are photo card worthy. If not, make this next weekend your photo card weekend! If you’re hoping for a family shot, ask a friend to help out. If time and finances permit, consider calling a local photographer. I come across loads of deals on Living Social, Groupon and the like for family photo shoots. At the end of the day, you need to have your photos selected before you order your cards! Are you ready for step 2? Hope so!Christmas Photo Card
  2. Window Card Shopping & Selection! I use and prefer Tiny Prints for their phenomenal selection, price and quality. It’s like the Pinterest of photo cards – loads of beautiful cards that I can spend hours browsing. Spend some time looking through their styles. You will want to check out the special offers for the latest and greatest deals.  This year they have a new Premium DoubleThick™ Matte Paper, the most luxurious paper yet. Consider if you’ll want to use the holiday photo card for more than just holiday wishes. Last year we treated our’s as a baby announcement, and this year it’s going to also double as a new address announcement. I’m all about killing 2 birds with 1 stone. Pick your card and move onto step 3!Address Book for Christmas Photo Card
  3. Order, Address & Send! You’ve picked your card, now ORDER them!!! Don’t waste time. Don’t wait until the week before. Don’t sleep on it for a few days. You know what happens – you will forget! While you wait the few days for them to arrive, gather the addresses. Message friends on Facebook, Twitter, text or even call to get the latest and greatest snail mail address. The cards will quickly arrive, so you need to be ready to address, sign and send.Could you be the 1st one this year with Photo Christmas Cards in the mail? I bet you can!

This year I plan to order the Having Holiday Fun, folded card from Tiny Prints. On the inside I will include a message with our new address. What do you think?
