Going Local at the Black Point Ocean Grill

Black Point Grill

Miami locals love the Black Point Ocean Grill! Last weekend we headed to the Black Point Ocean Grill in Cutler Bay for seafood, cold beer and great entertainment. Have you ever been?

This casual, feels like you’re in the Keys restaurant, had a fantastic menu of soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches and entrees. The portions were plentiful with loads of seafood options.

I ordered the fish tacos. Three tacos were served with a black bean salsa and sour cream atop.

Tom opted for the grilled shrimp skewers and Isabella wanted a hamburger so she ordered the mini sliders with grilled onions.

All three of us devoured our meals. We brought nothing home!

My favorite part of the experience was the ambiance. Nestled at the tip of Cutler Bay, the grill is waterfront. Boats surround the area. You watch the fishermen coming in from their day and families heading out for an afternoon boat ride. A glance from our booth greeted us with two manatees swimming by. It was beautiful. A Jimmy Buffet type singer played some Island classics. Black Point

If you’re local or just visiting, I most certainly recommend the Black Point Ocean Grill for a casual seafood meal.

The restaurant  is open 11 AM – 10 PM Sunday – Thursday, and 11 AM – 1 AM Friday – Saturday .
