Initial Carnival Breeze Memories
For 8 glorious nights, we sailed the ocean waters aboard the Carnival Breeze. We returned Sunday and not only do I still have sea legs, I really, truly miss the boat!
Over the next few weeks, I will share, in great detail, the tremendous aspects of the Carnival Breeze and how cruising works for families. Tonight I will begin with a few of my most missed aspects of our cruise. You saw my 1st impression and my love of the Serenity Lounge, but that doesn’t even start to tell part of the story!
In this initial Carnival Breeze recap, I will share a few things that I can’t stop thinking about.
1. Our WONDERFUL waiters in the Blush Restaurant. I could never pronounce their Eastern European names, but they ALWAYS put a smile on my face and they all ADORED my girls.
2. ROOM SERVICE. This was the best advice ever from a friend and frequent cruiser. A tray with hot coffee, milk for the kids and a few danishes and bagels arrived just as the girls were waking up each morning. It provided the kids something to do (eat) while Tom and I got the day started.
3. The FABULOUS journalists, including a number of bloggers, who were part of the press trip. We made great friends for life and all the kids got along so well. It was AWESOME!
4. The SCRUMPTIOUS food! No, I’m not getting near the scale this week. I enjoyed some of the best cuisine ever. Our favorites were Fahrenheit 555 and Cucina del Captian. These specialty restaurants aboard the ship had SUPERB service and DELICIOUS dishes!
Remember how I freaked out about cruising with a toddler? There was no reason. My experience on the ship and the memories we made as a family have me looking at my calendar for the next trip!
Our travels aboard the Carnival Breeze were part of a Press Trip. All opinions and experiences are my own.
I’m so glad that you had such a great time! We’ve never been on a cruise before so I’m definitely making you my expert when the time comes! 🙂
