Crockpot Applesauce
Crockpot applesauce. Just the thought of it gets me sniffing around for that aroma.
Making homemade applesauce is tradition for so many families. I remember going to upstate NY to go apple picking close to my Godmother’s house. It always amazed me to see so many apples dangle from the big trees. Those just picked apples would be soon be peeled and baked into an apple pie or made into applesauce.

If you are nowhere near an apple tree – like me in sunny South Florida – take advantage of the abundance of apples which are often at a discount at the grocery stores this time of year. Or order online from the gourmet market of Harry & David, like their
