Sure you can sit on the couch to eat your donut…wait, NOOOOO!!!!!! What was I thinking? You know what I’m talking about. You’re in the midst of something (Tweeting, cooking, on the phone) and the munchkin starts to pester you about something. You, in ways annoyingly say sure, sure, sure without realizing what you’re agreeing to. Well below is a prime example of that.

Smart Mamas, I think we have 2 lessons here. #1 Attempt to realize what you agree to before you agree (good luck with that one!) #2 Get a little vacuum to have on hand just in case (an easier solution!)

I think you can clearly see my obsession with my little Dirt Devil Gator 10.8V-this is a little vacuum purchased with my own money for around $30. Sooooooo awesome and very Smart Mama friendly!

Good Morning Smart Mamas!
I’m awaking on this 3rd day of some sort of nasty cold, virus thing. Yuck! I’m enjoying a cocktail of Chloraseptic, TheraFlu and Mucinex…oh joy!

Yesterday, in my poor sick me slump, I very much, thanks to DVR, enjoyed my own Project Runway marathon! It was great! I had 5 episodes to entertain me, one right after the other! I was interrupted a few times with my husband (who worked from home to be my wonderful caretaker) asking to watch a little Sports Center, every hour or so! I would let him steal the remote, just for a few minutes!

So life before DVR…do you remember it?? I can’t even fathom it at this point. If you were to look at my Recorded Programs, you would find everything from a number of Ghost Hunters episodes to the news clips from my Grocery Game TV debut …

This past weekend we had a fantastic time vacationing on the west coast of Florida, in Naples. We stayed at The Edgewater Hotel in a 1 bedroom suite. It was fantastic. You truly begin to value the advantage of a suite when you are no longer traveling with just the hubby. The suite, beyond the roominess, king size bed, balcony, & dining room table…had a full size fridge, toaster, enormous sink and cupboards. It was ready for my haul of Cheerios, graham crackers, milk, fruit, cheese, bread, turkey breast…you name it!
So, my Smart Mama Move was packing lots of munchkin food, and even mommy/daddy food, for our suite. We saved time and money by enjoying toasted english muffins and Cheerios in our room for breakfast and homemade turkey sandwiches poolside for lunch!
