  5. I love fudge and sugar cookies. My kids and I make about 4 dozen sugar cookies every holiday season for our family. Of course, not all 4 dozen make it out the front door!

  6. My favorite sweet at the holidays is the chocolate covered spoons that we make, and we sprinkle crushed peppermint candy canes on them while they are still hot, so they stick to it. Then we dip them in cocoa. Yummy!

  8. Over the weekend I made Sugar Cookies and Chocolate Chip cookies for our CCD class and during the next week I will be making cupcakes for my kiddos. Also thinking about a Sweet Potato pie. When it comes to me, I am as bad if not worse than the kids with my sweet tooth. I love it all!

  10. WE only have this during the holidays and that is RED VELVET CAKE WITH CREAM CHEESE FROSTING. WE make it from scratch not the box mix that they have out now which doesn’t taste at all like homemade.. If it can’t be that we have Pizelles which we also only get maybe twice a year because they take so long to make on the special grill but at oh so yummy!!

  11. I’ve recently been exposed to the miracle that is eggnog pie — it’s about as rich and fattening as you’d expect, and I don’t think I could eat it regularly, but I know now that I am going to make it a holiday staple!
