Ordering First Communion Invitations
Planning a First Holy Communion can be a daunting task. This very special occasion deserves all the special trimmings. From ordering First Communion invitations to the food to the party entertainment, you want your child’s ceremony and reception to be just perfect.
This year my oldest will receive her First Holy Communion. It’s going to be a big fare! Three cousins will also receive their communion that day so we have decided to celebrate together! Alongside my first cousins, we will host a Communion party honoring 4 children – 2 boys and 2 girls! Yes, it’s going to be a big party.
When my daughter and I first started discussing her big day, the gorgeous dress she’ll wear, and the family & friends who would comes to celebrate, her excitement was tremendous. When I asked her for some insight on what she would like at the party, she instantly said in a pre-teen tone, “Mom, you can’t do those text invite things for this party.” She was right. A special day like the one we would be soon celebrating deserved special, real invitations.
Through a partnership with TinyPrints, creators of countless Murphy Family photo Christmas cards over the years, we headed online to see what options were available.

The variety of First Communion Cards at TinyPrints is impressive. All those options that many have grown accustomed to when creating Tiny Prints holiday cards are available for the First Communion collection. All sorts of sizes, ability to add photos, adjust text, font and color and more. My indicisive self had a difficult time narrowing it down to a few favorites. With the party honoring boys and girls, the invitation had to be gender neutral.Throughout an entire weekend myself and my two cousins each loggeg into TinyPrints to page through the invites. We created invites and then saved them for each of us to see. At the end the three moms of the First Communion children selected Crossed Strings in Chenille. It is a perfect invitation for our special party!
Within a few days the TinyPrints little blue box arrived. We were all so excited. It lit a HUGE fire under us as we realized, “hey, if the invites are done, we MUST start actually planning the party!”
The TinyPrints First Communion invitations have been addressed and sent. The party planning is underway. We are so excited to celebrate this very special day!

Well now I feel guilty – my little man is getting his in May and I was just going to send evites. Lame, right?
Wow, so pretty! We did Emily’s Firsth Holy Communion last year, but we kept it small to mostly family. But these are really precious for those who need official invites! So sweet!
These are lovely! I have several nieces and nephews in that age group – forwarding this to their parents now!
Fancy! The invitations look lovely! I have heard all good things about Tiny Prints!
I’ve used TinyPrints for other occasions and really loved their products. Your invitations look gorgeous. Congrats!
