  1. The best part of having Christmas in Miami is the weather….
Not only do we have great weather but there is a great event hosted by Coconut Grove that will bring snow to us without us sacrificing our flip flops.

  2. My favorite part of Chirstmas is simply being thankful for all we have been given in life and for the love of family.

  3. My favorite thing about Christmas in Miami is getting to eat dinner outside on the porch enjoying the beautiful weather!

  4. Christmas in Miami is the perfect place to be. All family is here. We live. We laugh. We love. We sometimes fight, but nonetheless we are surrounded by family. It is the times and love for each other that makes Christmas in Miami perfect. Additionally, we have amazing weather that allows you to bundle up and snuggle on some nights and during the day you can hit the beautiful beaches. As a teacher, I get to enjoy all the festivities and create memories with my three year old. Hope to create some new ones at Candy Cane Village.

  5. Miami is a great city. We love the nice decorations and lights during this season. We had never been to Coconut Grove Candy Land. The kids are exciting about the snowing at night. We hope we can get tickets to all 4 so we can enjoy a magic night together.

  6. The weather in Miami is great specially at Christmas time! You can feel the holiday season in the air…imagine how spectacular will be to see the snowing hour at Coconut Grove Candy Village. The lights and children puts the magic during this time. I love all about celebrating Christmas 🙂

  7. My Christmas are amazing no matter where am at. They say home is where the heart is and for me that place is Miami. My family and friends make this time of the year special.
My favorite part of christmas in miami is all the holiday activities. I enjoy taking my children specially going to see Santa.

  8. My favorite things about having Christmas in Miami is not having to wear a huge, uncomfortable (and stinky) fur coat, being able to change my high heels into flip flops after dancing too much “El Burrito Sabanero” and “Feliz Navidad” and not suffering frostbite after doing so, and although my inner model (ha!) disagrees the AMAZING LATIN FOOD!!!! Caja China anyone? Merry Christmas!

  9. My favorite thing about Christmas in Miami is that its not so over kill like in NY where i used to live, theres to much decorating and all the fake stuff here its the right amount so it not to much and then its also so nice to have the candycane village to go to the weekend right before christmas to top it off at the right time!!

  10. Though I wish it snowed in Miami it would be nice if it did. What I love about Xmas here is that the weather is always fabulous it’s not hot and not cold it’s just right. I love it. The smiles on my families faces us amazing and hopefully get to share more with this festival.

  11. I Love Christmas in Miami, The weather is great, The beaches breath taking, and even though it does not snow there a lot of events that bring people family and friends to experience the magic of the season caroling, lights, the enjoy of children faces to see santa and all the magic that goes aling with christmas, And Cocogrove always host great events for all ages.. so it great the coocogrove candy cane village.. you can not never forget even if your adults the magic of remember when you were a kid and share holidays with family and friends, and now yoou look at your kid’s eyes and relive your young…

  12. There’s nothing like staying home and spending Christmas and the days to follow with family and friends.

  13. The best part about having Christmas in Miami is that SNOW is brought to you here to enjoy with your famlies and you can still feel warm while other cities are cold and wet.

  14. The best part about Christmas in Miami is the lighted palm trees! What is a Miami Christmas without the palm trees being lit up with Christmas lights! Oh, and don’t forget the flamingo lawn ornaments! This is Christmas in Miami all the way! Aside from the perfect weather to be outside and our “snow” and outdoor “ice skating” what a better place to be than Miami for Christmas… we make all “real” Christmas activities come to life in our own tropical way!

  15. Christmas in Miami is colored lights on palm trees. It’s the Bank of America building lit up with snowflakes. It’s nativity scenes done in only the obscenely overdone Catholic way Latin Americans can. It’s not walking through snow to look at houses with cool lights. It’s standing on the shoreline watching happy people in boats with cool lights. Maybe Christmas in Miami isn’t what you’re used to it feeling like. But if you live here it feels absolutely perfect and I love it!

  16. The Best part of enjoying christmas in Miami is that I have a Sunny Christmas instead of a white christmas. I love that I have the beach so close and although I dont have my family to enjoy it with me I have my mother, the warmth of Miami and its people

  17. My favorite part of having Christmas in Miami is decorating Christmas trees AND palm trees, going to the candy cane village and playing in snow and then taking my son and family to play in the sand on the beach – what could be better!!!??? We have the best of it all!

  18. A Christmas in Paradise

    ’twas the weekend before Christmas
    When all through the south
Not a snowflake was falling, not even a blout
The children were anxious the whole ride there,
In hopes they could sit with Saint Nick in his big, red chair

Ready for fun with the festival in sight,
The visions of candy cane fun made them quiver with delight,

And mom in her sweater and I in my Santa hat,
With the family in sandals and sweaters creating such a sight,
Had just begun our adventure for a festive, winter night

When out on the ice there arose such a clatter,
We sprang to our feet to see what was the matter
Upon the ice we flew like little flashes,
Running through the park for food and candy dashes,

The moon and Christmas lights illuminated the park,
So we rode all the rides until late after dark,
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
Everything I’m thankful for stood  in front of me, right here

I sprang to my feet, to my family I gave a big hug
And we all stood happily, together so snug
But I heard a familiar voice, and as I turned there he stood in plain sight,
“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!”

  19. Best Part of Christmas in Miami is the weather. We can enjoy family dinner outside and overall enjoy our family after all that is what is the most important part of the holidays spending time with our loved ones.
