Key West Family Vacation Itinerary, Day 3

FURY Water Adventure

Our 3rd day on our Key West family vacation brought us out to the water.

The Florida Keys is home to some of the most beautiful waters. It is also home to the only living coral barrier reef in the continental United States. When visiting Key West with kids be sure to make a water adventure part of your itinerary!

FURY Water Adventure

We were invited to partake in one of the FURY Water Adventures. Established in 1993, they know all there is to know about creating and hosting water adventures for Key West visitors. They have over a dozen different adventures. Selecting the best adventure for us was tough. We wanted to do all of them.

With a 2 and 6 year old in mind, we narrowed down our adventure between the Glass Bottom Boat, the Sunset Cruise and the Island Adventure. We selected the Island Adventure and had quite possibly the best family adventure ever.

The day of our water adventure we spent the morning answering Isabella’s persistant question, “Is it was time to go on the boat?” At 3:30 that afternoon it finally was!

Our 5-hour ride took out us out in the waters to snorkel, kayak and enjoy a beautiful sand bar. It was absolutely age appropriate for my family. The crew was fantastic and the day beautiful.

I HIGHLY recommend a FURY Water Adventures during your travels to Key West. It isn’t just for families! Depending on the time of year or day your FURY adventure might be more adult friendly or family friendly! Our’s was a mixture of adults (couples,) a few singles and 2 families with younger kids. It was perfect!
