Why An All-Inclusive Resort is Great for Families

All Inclusive

A family trip includes the additional cost for attractions, meals, entertainment and more. Selecting an all-inclusive resort for family travel provides a pre-paid approaching to vacationing. You arrive at your destination and are ready to enjoy, with no need to take out the credit card and pay for each and every aspect of the trip! You just go and have fun! That’s a vacation! All Inclusive

Last December I headed to Beaches Negril, an all-inclusive resort in Jamaica, for a complimentary press trip. From the moment we stepped on property we had fun, fun, fun – without needing to consider if we should or should not do an activity, eat at a nice restaurant or more. At Beaches, like many other all-inclusive resorts, all the fun is included.

I shot this video aboard an included activity – a water bike, AKA hydrobike!

As I’ve mentioned, there are many benefits in choosing an all-inclusive resort package. A few more reasons I recommend considering an all-inclusive vacation:

Benefits of an All-Inclusive Resort for Families

  1. Activities Included – Kayaking, hydrobikes, windsurfing and paddle-boarding are just a handful of the water sports the family can do at a resort like Beaches. There is no additional cost. It’s a great opportunity to try out activities that typically are too costly to just try.
  2. Financial – Although an all-inclusive resort package may seem more expensive, in reality, it is not. You will not be doling out money for little extras at every turn, therefore, you will be saving money in the long run. Just an hour of kayaking would cost a a family of 4 more than $200 off property.
  3. Relaxation – Another benefit is that there will be no stress and you will be able to relax. You will not need to run around looking for activities for the family to do as this type of travel package usually includes a pool, tennis courts, a spa, exercise room, and perhaps even a golf course. We did try the spa services – you do pay additional for specific services. It was a great mommy-daughter experience.
  4. Security – If you are like most people, the security of your family is important. All-inclusive resorts are usually gated and have the highest level of security. We also found there to be an abundance of staff on our last trip. Everywhere we turned there was another staff member greeting us. We felt very safe.

These are just some of the benefits of choosing an all-inclusive resort package on your next family vacation. Remember to research each all-inclusive resort package not only for its value but make sure that it provides enough entertainment for all family members to enjoy.

Have you ever been on an all-inclusive vacation? And if so, where was it?

  1. Sounds amazing. I’ve never done an all inclusive but I’m leaning that way for vacations we take in the coming years. Even just looking at Disney, we want to include all of our tickets and dining!

  2. The only All-Inclusive place I’ve ever been was in Aruba for my Honeymoon. It might be nice to find a kid friendly all-inclusive place for our next vacation.

  3. Oh that looks like so much fun! Love your video. Makes me want to go on a beach vacation right now. We’ve been to one resort, but it wasn’t really all-inclusive, although we did like all the activities they had right there, perfect for pure relaxation. Would love to travel to Beaches some day; that would be an amazing, relaxing trip for sure. You’re right, all those little costs add up big time.

  4. I’ve never been on an all inclusive trip but it’s totally something I would try. I love the idea of everything being already predetermined and not having to choose this or that depending on how much money you want to spend. On vacation you just want to relax – not worry about money!
