South Floridians pull out those grills this time of year. You see, why the rest of you are starting to head indoors as the cooler weather approaches, South Floridians head outdoors for the cooler temps! Yes, we have a completely different view point of “cooler” temperatures. Regardless the temperature a steak cooked on the grill is DE-LISH! Actually, a steak cooked anywhere is DE-LISH, too!
Our family loves the time of year where we can hang out outside with the family, cook and enjoy a meal. We fire up the grill, bring out the steaks and season a veggie or two. The kids run around and we soon open up a bottle of beer or serve ourselves a glass of wine. Quickly that aroma comes from our grill. Our tummy’s churn and we’re hungry in no time.

This post is sponsored by Omaha Steaks. All opinions and love of a juicy steaks are my own – and maybe your’s!
We were JUST saying how we missed grilling!!! I think even if the weather is cold next weekend, we’re going to grill in our winter coats!
I remember my dad grilling on the weber when I was a kid and there was loads of snow on the ground and falling! #AnythingForASteak
We actually have steaks on the menu this week! We all love a good filet.
It sounds like this Omaha steaks event will be a great time for anybody that can attend!
We grill all winter long in Boston! I love it. One of my co-workers used to always order Omaha Steaks and rave about them.
I’ve never tried an Omaha Steak, but my brother sends them to my mom every year at Christmas time and she says they are pretty amazing! I do love me some steak on the grill!
It snowed in New England yesterday so I appreciate all efforts to make me think about grilling and Florida – thank you!
Seriously, though, I have great memories from my childhood of my dad shoveling a path to the grill to cook steak for dinner – it was always a winner, no matter the weather!
We try to grill as much as possible through the winter. That usually means that by January, we have to shovel a path across the deck! I love Omaha Steaks – especially as gifts. I’ll have to place an order soon.
We love our grill…until it’s covered in snow! I sent my dad Omaha steaks while he wintered in Florida since my stepmom doesn’t eat red meat. My dad LOVED them!
I just froze cooking burgers out on the grill tonight! Jealous of the gorgeous weather you must be cooking steaks in. 😉 This week steaks are on our meal plan. It has been a while so I am excited to eat these sirloins! Sounds like Omaha Steaks are a great option.
I wish I lived closer so I could go to the Gridiron Grill-Off with you! I have to say that there are times when the weather gets cold that we still use our grill because there’s nothing like meat cooked over an open flame- even if there’s snow on the ground! LOL!
We grill all year long. Actually, we just refilled the gas today! Those steaks look killer!
Absolutely jealous that you can grill year round. We get a few months here in the Midwest before it gets too cold out, but nom… drooling just thinking about a good steak. With a delicious rub. And juices flowing. So… I obviously need to try Omaha Steaks now.
I have been grilling steaks recently with a rub made of cocoa beans, coffee, brown sugar and spices… my guests can’t get enough! Of course, most things grilled over a flame will turn out pretty good!
Sounds delicious!
Isn’t it weird how we start firing up the grill while most of the country heads indoor? Love this time of the year in South Florida and love Omaha Steaks. Too bad were weren’t able to head to the event. Let the grilling season begin!
Absolutely agree – this time of year in Florida is the best!
