Going To The London Olympics With Xfinity

Xfinity Comcast is providing 5,535 hours of coverage of this summer’s Olympics, and we are thrilled. Earlier this month my 5 year old daughter witnessed the gymnastics olympic trials. She wasn’t distracted by commercials or the lag time between events. She went to the Olympic trials through the incredible Xfinity On Demand service! On Demand provided, commercial free gymnastic segments of each athlete. Selecting one competitor from the menu allowed her to instantly see ALL of that athlete’s performances for that day. This made viewing and understanding the competition more understandable for a little child. It was fantastic.

Our journey to the Olympics has continued. We are watching segments on the history of the Olympics, including the best of reels of Athens and Beijing. We are playing trivia games and learning about the attractions of London! We are psyched for this weekend’s opening ceremony and are grateful for the knowledge and excitement we’ve gained through Xfinity’s On Demand!

Here’s her take on it…

Are you pumped to watch the Olympics? Have you taken advantage of the pre-olympics coverage on On Demand? What sport are you most excited to see?

  1. I had no idea! We have Xfinity, and Thing Two has been obsessed with the basketball games. I’ll have to share the On Demand options with him…What an awesome way to pull it all together! Thanks for sharing 🙂
