Cuban Frita

Smaller in size, but packs a punch of flavor.
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon of diced onion
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
  • Oil to fry fritas
  1. Wet breadcrumbs with milk. Add to beef.
  2. Add egg and remaining ingredients. Mix.
  3. Form 16 small discs. Store on wax paper and set to chill in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  4. Pan fry with a bit of oil.
  5. Serve with chips or potato sticks.
Note that prep time includes chill time.
