Big Grips iPad Case

Big Grips iPad CaseWe recently purchased an iPad. We knew the kids would want to use it. But we cringed every time they “held” it. I waited for that 1st drop and screen shatter. I decided to stop waiting and do something. I looked online for a kid-friendly iPad case, especially with our Carnival Breeze trip approaching. I wanted a case that a toddler could handle and the big kid would like. I came across Big Grips and boy, am I happy.

A Big Grips iPad case provides a soft, cushiony border around your iPad. It makes holding the device far easier and it makes those feared drops a thing of the past. There is no promise that the iPad can’t shatter but the chances are far lower when your child (and you) can have a better grip on it.  Also available is a Big Grips Stand. Your iPad in the Big Grips Frame EASILY sits on the stand either vertically or horizontally. I’ve used this stand A LOT when the girls want to watch a movie together. No more arguing over who gets to hold the iPad. Now the stand holds it!

The only thing that was a challenge was the accessibility of the power plug. The slot within the case to plug in the charger is narrow – at least for my short and wide little hands. Sometimes I have to take the frame off to charge it.

You can purchase a Big Grips Frame & Stand Set  from Amazon for $49.95. The frame and stand are also available separately. I would get both.

I was provided a complimentary Big Grips Frame and Stand. ALL experiences and opinions are 100% my own!

  1. Hello Caroline!

Thanks so much for this awesome review. We’re so glad you are enjoying Big Grips!

I wanted to let you know about a great little product that may help with the issue you are having with the charging cord called Sugru. Sugru is moldable, air-curing silicone rubber that can be fashioned into wonderful little “handles” for gadget plugs (and lots of other stuff). Sugru will probably extend the life of any iPad charging cable with our without Big Grips Frame involved. More information can be found at http://sugru.com/gadget-lovers

    All our best!
    Claire
