If you want to turn your home into a technological paradise, you might want to start with a few of these nine gadgets. Some of them are brand new, and to be released this year, whereas some of them have been around for awhile, but are now more readily available. Some of them are on the more expensive side, but most of them are affordable for the average person. Read on, and take a look at some of the cool new features you could add to your home.

Not only can you use switches that sense when people are in the room and switch on automatically, but you can connect them to your computer or smartphone and turn them on or off remotely. It is a great way to save energy, as well as warn off intruders when you are on vacation.
