As you know I have taken the George Foreman out from behind the spider webs recently. I had tucked it away years ago when I hit a point of frustration every time I cleaned it. You know exactly what I’m talking about! The George Foreman manufacturer expects the patience of an oyster to use a plastic fork to clean grilled on gook! Not so effective in this house!
While cleaning out the underneath of my kitchen sink I came across the solution for this dilemma! A bottle brush! Tucked in back of sponges I found a soft bottle brush that I’m assuming I’ve had for at least 3 years. I don’t think I even used this once to clean Isabella’s bottles. The bristles are soft enough to not damage the grill and strong enough to get the grime loose.
As soon as I’m done using the George Foreman, or soon thereafter, I position the drip tray (empty) where it normally sits. I fill a
large cup with very warm water. I carefully pour little by little, water onto the grill, brushing with the bottle brush to loosen any gook. The dirty water slides right into the drip tray. I empty the drip tray occasionally as it fills up. I use a paper towel to dry the grill and wipe away any other remnants.
Here’s a similar brush. Try it out. You can’t go wrong! Bring out the George Foreman! It’s time to grill!
